STOP using it immediately and contact us to arrange a free repair.

A safety issue has been identified with this product that may cause serious injury. Continued use of the tool
exposes you and others nearby to risk of harm. STOP using the tool immediately.

Makita will repair your product free of charge.
There is no cost to you.

How do I know if my tool is affected?

Applies to all DGP180ZBK 18V Grease Guns + 1200mm & 600mm flexible hose accessories purchased between 25 February 2021 - 30 April 2025.

Why was the product recalled?

A small hole can appear in the hose which may cause it to burst and eject grease under pressure.

What injuries can it cause?

Risk of serious injuries including lacerations if the hose bursts during use. Incidents causing injury have occurred.

How long will the repair take?

A representative will be in touch within two business days to arrange collection and repair.
