A safety issue has been identified with this product that may cause serious injury. Continued use of the tool
exposes you and others nearby to risk of harm. STOP using the tool immediately.

Makita will repair your product free of charge.
There is no cost to you.

How do I know if my tool is affected?

Applies to all DGP180ZBK 18V Grease Guns with 1200mm flexible hose or 600mm flexible hose accessory purchased before 30 April 2025.

Why was the product recalled?

Repeated bending of the hose tip can cause a hole to form, which can cause the hose to burst.

What injuries can it cause?

Risk of serious injuries including lacerations if the hose bursts during use. Incidents causing injury have occurred.

How long will the repair take?

A representative will be in touch within two business days to arrange collection and repair.
